Congratulations to the Winter Park Police Department
The Winter Park Police Department was the winner of the L.E.A.D. Mustang during the 2007 Florida Law Enforcement Challenge Awards Program held on August 9 in Orlando, Florida. The vehicle was given away as part of the L.E.A.D. Award, recognizing outstanding efforts to combat the growing problem of aggressive driving.
The Florida Law Enforcement Challenge is an annual awards program that honors the best of the best in the field of traffic safety. Funded by the Florida Department of Transportation, the program recognizes and rewards the best overall traffic programs that combine training, public information, and strong enforcement to reduce crashes and injuries within their respective jurisdictions. Over 30 agencies were recognized at this year's Challenge Awards.
